Would Changing Youtube Genre Get Better Views?

Basically what I'm trying to ask is I want to change genre and every time I do game, pet etc videos, I keep getting my videos monetized but they're getting rejected. I don't really care about the money but is nice to get some and i do care about the communities aswell but it is a big pain not getting anything afterwards.

So I'm wondering if I would get more views aswell as videos being monetized if I changed genre, was thinking of doing vlogs but don't really want to put my face out there as I'm not sure what will happen if I do and I don't want people in college to know about my channel. I like keep things separate.

So I would like advice for all I have said so maybe why Vlogging is a good idea and what are the cons and I would like the same for would it get allot more views or will it not?

Is Vlogging popular to watch and do?

Does it have to have a subject or can it be anything random like how everyday life is?

i'd say trail and erroor jst see what your best at and what you feel most comfortable with :)

Try doing commentary if you want more views.

vlogging has its pros and cons, like any genre.

pros:
you can talk about anything--you have endless material
it doesn't usually take too much editing (depending on footage/content)
there are lots of templates/ideas out there you can use
it's usually all original content so you don't have to worry about copyright issues

cons:
it can be hard to get started (like other genres) because of more "popular" or "aesthetically pleasing" or "funnier" individuals out there
you have to come up with your own material--nothing is set in stone

I personally really enjoy the vlogging genre. :D
