Hey guys, I've just made an awesome piece of channel art, but I'm worried that it'll attract a copyright claim due to it being based on Friends. Can people take a look and let me know if I'm in any danger of this happening?

i wouldn't worry about it , YouTube hasn't rolled out a content id for pictures yet, may be a problem in a few years though
 
I think you are ok for now. But there is indeed a resemblance, i would change it just in case, before your channel becomes big. Just to be on the safe side.
 
Don't worry about it, there is no need to change your channel art (unless you are unhappy with it, of course). It is extremely unlikely that there would be any legal action taken against you.
