Work less hard on videos since I have gotten almost only 50 subscribers and 10,000 views in 5 years?

Now, to be honest, I have quit YouTube many times, and I have just started to actually edit my videos. I feel like I work so hard for getting not very good views (until I added tags on some of my newer videos) but, I still feel I work so hard for how much I get. I have about 4 hours to work on videos a day and usually try to upload every week.

I feel ya. YT can get pretty demoralizing at times. For me I need to ask why am I doing YT? Is it for fun? Is it to make money? Is it to learn something new etc? You may want to ask yourself similar questions.

If Your goals or methods of achieving them are unrealized you may want to implement something new and see if that works.

You say you've just begun editing videos and adding tags. It sounds like you're just getting started. Awesome, keep going! If you enjoy doing it, work hard at it. Definitely don't work less hard. AND don't discourage others from working hard... it doesn't help your cause.

When you say you are just starting to edit your videos, does that mean you were just uploading raw footage until recently? That may account for the lack of subscribers, but I have no idea... just guessing.
