Windows Movie Maker or Lightworks

I am choosing between the two to edit my videos with and both have all the functions I need but I am wondering which one gives a better quality video...I know that in the free lightworks it's only up to 720p but I've also heard that Windows Movie Maker lowers the video quality and I am wondering which one is better in terms of the video quality.

Does it lower the video quality? also can you export files into full HD (1080p (I know its not the highest quality))?

Yes full hd, I've even speed up a clip and exported it and used the exported clip in a video speed up more and the quality was the same as other clips

Id recommend lightworks cus thats what I use to edit my videos
