Hi, I have a question so if someone could reply I'd be grateful. Will I get paid if I have gameplay videos that don't include my commentary but have disabled monetization alongside those that do have commentary and enabled monetization?

Are you asking if you'll get paid for simply appearing in search results? No. No you won't.

Umm, what? What I meant is will i get paid if I receive enough views on that particular video. I'm sure you know that gameplay videos without any commentary are against the rules.

Yes, i know that, but what if i have some other gameplay videos that do not include commentary and have disabled monetization. It's against the rules to upload gameplay videos without informative and procedural commentary. I want to know if I can make money on those videos that are not against the rules.

As long as the non-qualifying videos don't get you strikes that lead to your channel shut down, yes you will still make money on the ones that are monetized. I'd suggest taking down any videos that put you at risk unless they are directing significant amounts of traffic to your channel it's just not worth it.

No, I'm asking if it's okay to upload videos against the rules with monetization disabled while having these other videos that are monetized and are not against the rules?

Yes, that's what i wanted to know. First of all, thank you for clearing this up. I might just delete those videos, but I'll see :) Thanks again ;)
 
Actually in some publishers do allow people to upload commentary free gameplay, you just have to look at the FAQ on their site see what they think, or fire them an email.

I know this, but only certain amount of developers allows it. I'm now thinking of sending an email to developers of the game asking for permission.
