I didn't mean that making a music channel where you upload your own music is a bad idea. I love finding and discovering new musicians. It's just owning one of these channels and building it from the ground up is quite difficult. Monstercat have been established for over 2 years, but they've also reached out to a lot of people and have spent a lot of money to get where they are now.[DOUBLEPOST=1389363637,1389363586][/DOUBLEPOST]
Keeping these channels active is pretty easy, but finding new music to use is the difficult part. Some weeks we can have up to 10-15 new releases, then others you can only have 2. So you have to recycle "old but gold" tracks to keep everyone happy.
Well naturally it takes a lot of effort, but building a music channel is no different from building any channel.

Monstercat Media is a electronic music record label, not just a promotion channel. They sign and release music, and the Youtube channel is used as their platform to share the music in video format.
