Why Could My Videos Be Flooeded With Hate the Second They Do "Well"?

For ages now, each video would follow one of two different routes. It will either do extremely poorly, and get like maybe 1 comment from an exisiting sub if I'm lucky, or the video will do well, or rather well for my channel's terrible standards, and the floodgates to the worst types of people would open. Then the only comments would be trolls and hate comments, and the like/dislike ration would become insanely poor. All for pretty much no reason. It would at least be helpful if some of those people commented on why they didn't like the video, but they more insist on either attacking me or my few subs instead. Why could that be? Could YouTube just be promoting my videos to the wrong type of audience who want different content, or am I just unlucky? Could this be the reason my channel has been growing so slowly and up to recently only had 2k subs after 7 years? Though I do have to clarify that recently this changed somewhat for my most recent videos, after I jumped up over 2k subs from getting involved for some drama, but still continue to recieve terrible comments on older videos. So why could this be? I should also probably clarify that I'm not looking for motivation. Those negative comments don't effect me, that's not the issue here, just worried about my channel and how this all could affect it.

What percentage of the comments are negative? I feel like getting a bit of hate means that you're doing something right. Once you get to a certain size it seems like you will always have detractors. I can't wait for my videos to get enough views for people to actively dislike them!

You mentioned some drama - could it be that you started a minor flame war and it's still burning? p**s off the wrong trolls and they probably head to their Troll Farms to drum up some jerks to harass you.

On videos that don't perform terribly it's around 4-5 bad comments for every normal one. Also no it's nothing to do with the drama.

I just skimmed over your archive and opened up some of your more popular videps. I didn't see any mob with pitchforks on any of them. Give links or at least video titles where this is a problem.

Well I delete all those comments. I have all comments go to review automatically so I can easily sort through all the garbage.

Looking at your community page, it looks like you hit 3000 subs a week ago and then recently hit 4000? That seems like crazy fast growth. No wonder you're got a few haters. I would imagine its inevitable to get a few trolls when you grow that fast.

Again, like I said in my main post that I was talking to what's been happening before that, and what's been starting to creep up again as more and more of those subs are starting to forget about the channel already.
