Why Comment Then Remove It?

I have noticed this a few times, I go to my YT inbox and I see a comment, saying thanks this help me or something like that and then go to see it on the video page and the author has removed it, I mean what is the point in commenting to remove it? I understand when you said something wrong or offensive and regretted it like I once had someone write something like "this sucks" then removed it and then put "thanks for this". I get those ones, maybe they decided they were no longer hateful lol but the others, I mean why remove a normal sounding comment? Do you get this at all on your videos?

This happens to me all the time sometimes they do it because your comment comes up as spam

I think if they delete your channel then this happens..

I remember once i deleted my 'likes' history thing to free it up, and it deleted my 'like' from every video i had liked lol :S

This has happen to me...I will get a message for a new comment...see the comment in my inbox but then go to the video and it be gone. Usually there is nothing bad in the comment either so I don't get it sometimes.
