Why are people so rude? (not here)

Agreed :)

Cheers! Really great game, actually. Hoping for Bosskey that it ends up doing really well. They e-mailed out some extra alpha keys for this past weekend's test - if they do that again during the next test I'm happy to send one your way.

Nice dude! Seriously, that would be awesome, thank you man! :)

People seem to think that the folks who make YouTube videos have no feelings, and also when they can post comments anonymously, they think it's appropriate to be rude and mean. It's a terrible combination. I try to ignore any rudeness I get, because I always assume there's something broken in the person's life where they feel the need to be ugly, and I would rather not be ugly back.

Agreed on all accounts. Being ugly back isn't the answer - it will only show others that you've let the person get the best of you. I like the assumption from the comments, though. I've never quite thought about it like that but it is a very valid point.

Even the very top stand-up comedians have plenty of people who hate their stuff. Comedy is very subjective and it shows a lot ignorance and immaturity for this ******** to assume that just because he doesn't like it, nobody else will. Laugh, move on and make another video. =]

Thanks, man :) And you're absolutely right - I used to be a comedy club manager a number of years back and comedy is 100% subjective. Comedians who I though were hilarious some hated and ones that I thought were dull some loved.

That is so rude....It is so easy to type such horrible things behind a screen,,,don't let it get to you! I am sure you produce some awesome content

Some people are just that way - complete A-holes. And since they may not always act it out in the real world, they can easily just do it online, and take their attitude out on other people who they disagree with on the internet.

Pay no mind to it. Everyone gets haters. Part of having a YouTube career is knowing how to deal with them - the best way is often just ignoring them.
