Why are people so rude? (not here)

Toast Gaming

YTtalk Mad
I just received what I would consider extremely rude: "This guy talks like he thinks his audience are small children. Your jokes are god f*****g awful. Just because your friends laugh doesn't mean you can make other people laugh. Easily the most cringe worthy video I've watched in some time. You talk like learned how to speak from watching the news. You highlight parts of the sentence where it doesn't make sense to. And on top of that, its weird that you are giving tips on how to play games like overwatch competitively when its obvious you have no competitive experience."

Why would someone who clearly hates my content take the time to put together a paragraph like this? Just seems malicious.

Perhaps I'm thinking too much about it...

Listen ToastGaming these people have obviously got too much time to hate on people's videos! I know we all might think it is extremely rude but it isnt worth retaliating. As long as you like what your doing all is good! also i like your videos, i was just recently watching your Is Sub4Sub Beneficial video

I feel there are some nice people on the internet but there are a large majority of ppl who are rude because they feel they can say whatever they want and they basically can because of freeedom of speech. I am ok with constructive criticism but flat out rude comments are not ok I would just live your life haters gonna hate right?

Also because on the internet when you communicate with someone you lose the sense of a human on the other side of the screen which allows you to say horrible stuff that you would never say to someone face to face. This effect is only exaggerated on sites like YouTube where you can talk anonymously and there really are no rules.

And obviously some people just are dicks. But even they usually have some sort of a filter in the real world.

Just try to keep your cool and ignore people like this. Or answer back with love, that probably irritates them a lot :laugh2:. Whatever you do, don't get rude yourself.

I wouldn't take any of it to heart, people are like that. Especially on the internet, I doubt he/she would have the balls to say any of that to someone in public.
Just the way the internet is, just try and ignore the b******t as best you can and focus on those that enjoy your content.

I'm all for constructive criticism - it helps people get better. I just saw no point to that comment other than with the sole purpose of being rude. Just frustrating is all and this seemed like a good place to vent.

Just continuing my thought that to something like this I might answer along the lines of: "Oh, I'm sorry, I'll try to be better next time just for you <3"

But the wisest thing is probable just to ignore :laugh2:
