Why are my rendered files so big (sony vegas pro 11)

I use sony vegas pro 11 and if i wanted to render a Don't starve clip (its a really fun game) 15 minutes uses up 98 gigabite!
Is that normal, i render it in 720p
Please help!

No that is not normal. Could you post a screenshot of your render settings?

hopefully you're not using lossless codecs and stuff.

Yeah show us a screenshot of render settings. Try to compress the video more so its not all raw video footage!

Do not render it as .avi file. Try .wmv files with 1920x1080p

Try H.264 it is brilliant quality and less file size! WMV can lose a lot of quality in my experience of after effects and sony vegas!

Your probably rendering it in a big file format, if not try rendering it in the next "p" Down from your top
