It depends on the person, and the actuall video itself not what the video is about.

But well, right now gaming gets a fuckload of views for some reason, and it's a lot easier than comedy/rant/vlog vidz.

Depends on what you like and what your audience likes. And what you have fun making. Theirs no way to just get a bunch of views, you have to work for it. I see you just did your first video? Or atleast first vlog. Your getting pretty good views / support on that.
As for views it goes:
1) Viral Videos (Meaning trying to something thats 'in' or just capturing something funny and hope it goes viral)
2) Gaming Videos are popular right now, see you do those on your other channel, some of the time anyways.
3) Comedy is always good.

But really views are just down to Luck, Promotion (not spamming comments), and quality.

Make what you like, not what you think is going to get lots of views. That way you can't lose. Too frustrating chasing views. A good thumbnail and description can do more for you in the short-term anyway.

Think of the YouTube demographic - and then cater to it by putting a scantily clad attractive woman in the thumbnail. Doesn't really matter what the video content is.
