Hi, My camera is on it's last legs and I'm looking at getting a new one. I'm a bit unsure which resolution is best for YT vids though, 720p or 1080p? Does it make much difference?
1080p is the best that normal people will be able to view it in, and it is noticeable. 720p just looks a bit grainy, but it's not horrible. When I do slow motion videos I use 720p or even WVGA; it still looks decent, but compared to my 1080p GoPro videos you can totally tell the difference.[DOUBLEPOST=1390574175,1390574113][/DOUBLEPOST]Hi, My camera is on it's last legs and I'm looking at getting a new one. Content is king! My highest viewed videos look like they were shot on a camera from 328 B.C.Higher quality would always be the way to go in my opinion, that is if your computer can handle 1080, or even 1920. When I go to YouTube, the default plays at 720 and I just leave it at that. Some people that change they quality of a video have to wait for it to rebuff, and all that fun stuff. I'ma just click and watch the video, I dun care really. Heck, I watch videos in 360p if the content is good.
