im just starting youtube so I need help for a capture card
should I get the avermedia game capture hd or the Roxio game capture
the avermedia is around 120 to 150 dollars while the Roxio is from 60 to 100 but the Roxio only record in 480p and the avermedia upto 1080i, also please suggest a good inexspensive editing software

get the avermedia. You always want to go HD with gaming videos.

The Roxio hd pro is 1080p HD get that but make sure its the hd pro one.

thanks but now whats a good editing software but dosent cost like 500 to 1,000 dollars like adobe after effects

I bought the Hauppage and I'm actually glad I did, no issues so far

but aren't hauppages like 180 dollars plus the aver media can record without being connected to a computer which I could use when im not at my desk top and on the go plus its around 60 dollars cheaper
