Which GoPro is the best?

I have been thinking about buying a GoPro lately and have looked at three editions, the white, silver and black editions, there are some obvious spec differences. But from experience, which do you guys think is the best GoPro. I would like to buy one so I can attach it to a bicycle when I do in action videos on my bike channel, and maybe for some artistic clips for my vlogs.

Probably the Hero3+. I don't have it but I'm sure it's better than the older GoPro's.

I'm pretty sure GoPro will release the new GoPro HERO 4 or whatever they're calling it this year or next so it'll probably be worth waiting for that.

IMO, I like the Hero 3 because I use it. Very HD quality and light weight. Good for vlogs etc.

i think its terrrriiible for vlogs! the fish eye view is anoying in my opinion :/ but i like the gopro 3 black :) with wifi and all, you can mount it anywhere... and do what you want!

i really want to get a RC boat, put it on there :p
 
I am a cheapskate so if I was waiting for the mk4 I'd be waiting until it had come down in price, by which time the MK5 would be out. I don't really think I'd need the Wifi as I would edit the footage before uploading anyway, I originally had my eye on the white edition but after reading the spec sheet it seems to be the base model, which leaves me the choice of black or silver, the black appears to be the highest spec, but is the extra spec worth the extra money?
 
I have the GP Hero 2 and the GP Hero3+ . Now, the black edition is the best edition GP offers. BUT, there were 3 production months that GP screwed up on the Hero3+ and ALLLL the cameras had a lens issue. The August, September, October, and some November cameras lens' were not focused. My first 3+ was out of focus, and I had to return it for a new one. I have not tested it out though.

You can find the production date on the bottom of the box. It is the first 4 numbers of the serial number. Meaning, 0813 was the august 13 production, 1113 was November, etc....

gopro 3 black is just amaaazing! 350 bucks but wow, amazing qualitiy :)
 
I have the Gopro 3 Black Edition and in my opinion it has everything I could ask for when shooting vids like biking. I'm sure the 3+ edition has a few improved features but if you rather want to save some money and still get amazing shots I would recommend the Gopro 3 Black one. It's awsum :)
