My cousin -9 years old - is Obsessed with tech reviews and youtube that he decided to have his own channel. I have no option but to support him all over the way. I learned some video editing and I'v created his channel under my account -I don't know if that's the right way to do it or not, but that will be another topic-
My concern right now is where to get the footage/images of things he wants to talk about, since I can't afford to get him all gadgets he wants to review.
Every material on the Internet seems to be copyrighted, and I want to do everything by the book.
I heard that I could use some footage from other videos as long as it under 10 seconds or something like that -Fair Use- But I don't know for sure how's that works in my case.
Does tech companies official ads/conferences/releases (Apple, Google, Samsung, Dell, HP,Assus) are copyrighted too?
I'm very confused regarding the content and what are the best practices to apply here. Any help will be tremendously helpful.
