Where should I buy a Website/domain

Hello everyone.

Has anybody experiences with websites/domain and such things?

I want a website (for my gaming channel).

I think the most website/domain hosts are similar and offers nearly the same.
just the prize and some unimportant facts are different.

Is there some page/host you prefere and you would advice me?
(Im german and I need a .de domain)

On my website I just want to put a newsticker, a little guestbook, and a page with my games/videos/playlists.

Ive read that there are ways with php code to imbedded my videos/playlists from youtube to my page. So that I dosnt have to link every single video (1160+) on my own.

Imbedded stuff goes on a different server (youtube),
so that means I dont use my traffic/webspace or not?
which mean I need just a little paket with webspace and so on?

I need help, thanks. :)

Ive heard about Server/Hosts where I can offer a package wich also contains a ts3 server, minecraft server and such thinks, for nearly the same prize than normal server with just domain and webspace. do you now something about that?

The traffic will still be on your website. The videos will load from youtube, but people will still access your site to watch them, so if you have a lot of traffic, make sure you get the large hosting package with lots of bandwidth...

okay. good to know. but many hosts i saw has already in short webspace packages unlimit traffic. thats the best for me i think

its some personal. every page on youtube look same after the release of the ugly "one" design.
on a website i could put more links and other stuff, which i couldnt put on my youtube site.

i get money from my network. but i could enter my website for adsense and get money with it too.
on my website my fans can look for stuff from ME and search/filter for it. without any annoing advertise from youtube and all of the stupid banners on their sites.

also a better looking guestbook and such features
 
I see the op is German. What are good American websites for this? Is something like angelfire good? I guess I can link the channel and the blog to the same site.
