When's the right time to release merchandise?

I want to release t-shirts and stuff for my channel but I'm waiting for the right time. Any thoughts about a certain ideal time to release them?

i don't think there's an exact time that would be perfect but maybe if you try asking your subscribers what they think of the idea and if they like it then just go for it?

I think you should have a ridgid fanbase before even thinking about it.
And with only 900ish subs, i would wait until atleast 1-1.5k subs before starting merchandise.

I think you should. You'll soon have 1000 subs and with that much people you will have some t-shirts sold

Just get the design ready and if you have a site that will print and ship for you, start now. Who cares if you only sell 1 or 2 in the beginning. Everyone needs some custom swag every now and then
