When Software Keeps Crashing

I'm editing a very complex video that, if I can get a piece of software to stop crashing on me, will turn out absolutely awesome (thanks Steam, you hunk of crap).

Really annoying. I've lost two in-progress things so far because of it!

Doesn't help that it's too hot to have a great deal of patience with it!

I know how you feel. Vegas is always crashing if I have too many video clips in a project and it annoys the heck out of me! I'm surprised my laptop still works after all the beating I give it...

Make sure everything else is closed and make sure your computer isn't over heating. Are you on a desktop or laptop?

thats why i am getting a computer, JUST for editing purposes, and keep my laptop for all small things.

Vegas crashes here all the time. Well most likely when I am watching if the end result is any good. But I learned there's a save button. That really helps me out.

This happens with me sometime using iMovie. I just restart my computer and just open the video editing software so there are not any unnecessary program's running in the background

Vegas has crashed on me multiple times before whenever I'm working on a big project and I have a lot of video clips in the project. It's so annoying but that's why I make sure to save often.

Not software related but I had a game crash on me about 4 times today. So yeah I partially feel your annoyance.......kind of........a bit.
