When is the threshold for YT payments?

I have finally been approved for monetization and I am seeing several dollar amounts in my analytics page, nothing substantial yet.

My question is how and when do we get paid? specifically is there a threshold we have to reach before we get paid? and why does the number flucautate each day/month. Is there a way we can control the fluctuation?

Note that you can only raise the threshold; it cannot be lowered. Also you can neither adjust nor stop the fluctuation. This is because you are only paid revenue when viewers interact with ads, and no one can force them to do so. So viewer ad interaction always fluctuates, causing your revenue levels to fluctuate also.
