When do you get your video ideas?

Sorry for posting a lot! It's not spam, promise :mstickle:

I was just curious to how you come up with your video ideas (I guess this video goes more towards vloggers and stuff). Like, do you get ideas when you're taking a shower? Taking a dump? About to fall asleep? Jumping off a bridge?

I would like to know how your little brain comes up with ideas and when! :D
 
25% of the time when I am in the bathroom on the toilet, 10% of the time when I am at my computer, 10% of the time when I am not at my computer, 5% when I am driving, 40% when I am about to go to sleep but my pc is out of reach and another 10% when I am smoking cigarettes while going to the bathroom....
 
They hit me, and just... out of nowhere. It can be sparked by something a friend says, sparked by nothing at all. Sometimes one video leads to the idea of another. Like "If I were a Bee" for example. The melody hit me first, I just heard the melody and thought "there's an opus in that" Then I thought "should it be a serious opus? No it should be something random and ridiculous..." I looked out the drive thru window at KFC and saw a bee flying around some bushes... immediately I heard "If I were a bee, I'd give you my wealth and my power" I thought, "that sounds deliciously retarded, I should keep going with this theme..." Then I was like "whoa, I could even dress as a bee for the video" and wham, there ya go.
 
Usually from comments from others. "Like someone should make a video of this" or "I can explain or do a better video of that" People are very inspiring and tell you the pain to which I try and solve.
 
A lot of times its while I'm in the shower, because that's where I am secluded from everything and get time to just think. Sometimes they just hit me. Sometimes they come as I contemplate certain topics.

That's cool. I kinda do that...sort of. Like someone would suggest me to do something, so I'll consider it. But then take their ideas and morph it into my own idea.
