Crown
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hi everyone,
I live in Europe. My adsense account is therefore in Euros and that is the currency I get paid in at the end of the following month.
But as we all know, in YouTube analytics the actual ad revenue earned is in USD - makes sense, Youtube is an American company.
My question is how and when are the USD amounts converted to the EUR amounts (or whatever foreign currency people have their accounts in)?
Thinking about it, it's probably one of these options:
1)On a day to day to basis (at the end of each day's earnings during the current month)
2)At the end of the current month for the earnings for the whole month.
3)Just before payment on the 3rd week of the following month for the previous month's earnings.
Normally, it wouldn't really make much difference, but as some of you might have noticed, the USD / EUR and USD / GBP exchange rates are pretty volatile atm and as ad revenue increases, these fluctuations can have quite a big impact on the bottom line. I realise, there's nothing I can do about it either way, but I'd like to be able to accurately predict my EUR earnings.
