I'm aware about the policy regarding ad performance data sharing but I always see folks do it hence I'm being brave to ask this question.

All the CPM data I read is truly confusing, no I'm not confused, it's looks like people are confused a bit. Someone is talking about eCPM that YouTube shows (monetized views), someone compare this with AdSense rpm and someone would compare with eCPM of total YouTube views (monetized+non monetized). So we can see how it makes confusion with monetized views, total views, youtube's cut/networks cut and blah blah.

I'm also aware that how retention time, location etc matters, so I'm proving a simple format for a bit better comparison, if you're interested, you may share.

Average total views (monetized+non monetized)
Average retention time/total minutes watched
Revenue after YouTube's cut/revenue after network's cut
Your networks name
Us, uk, canada based audience/ non us, UK, Canada based audience
Suggest if I missing anything.


2nd format
eCPM of total YouTube views after YouTube's and networks cut (monetized+non monetized) manual calculation is needed.
Average retention time/total minutes watched
Networks name
Us/non us based audiention.


- it can be monthly or daily basis, also you can compare your own average data with current month/day.
