What's the best way to find other small Youtubers?

Hey guys!

I feel like it's impossible to find smaller Youtubers on the actual site. Usually I come across them in comments on much bigger videos, or in places like this. Is there a way to search for small Channels?
 
I'm not really sure if you can search small channels, but you can go into the video section thread on here and find small YouTubers there's lots of small YouTubers on this forum I'm sure you will find a few channels that you will like!
 
What do you specifically mean by small channels? When you say small channels all channels are technically small (with the exception of pewdiepie), but you have to be more clear. Do you mean small channels with decent sub counts in the thousands, small channels that get lots of views, or just a low sub count channel that posts videos often.
 
I find it soooo hard to find smaller channels on YouTubers, Usually, looking though other smaller channels comments, and sometimes things pop up in my recommended, but I find most of the smaller YouTubers I watch through this forum, to be honest..
 
Maybe you should check out reddit. There is a subreddit called r/smallyoutubers, I think this could fit. And there is another one called r/unknownvideos or r/NewTubers. But to me it looks like people are just dropping their links most of the time, not sure if this is what you are looking for.

They definitely are just dropping links and running. Those small channel promotion subreddits aren't good at all because people are mostly there to throw their own nets out. But r/Newtubers isn't entirely meant for that, that's just what it gets used for.
 
i manage to rank some of my videos in the top 4-5....yet no clicks :( i dunno...
they say the key is SEO and making tons of videos but.....it takes me 6-8 hours to make a video (including scripting, research, etc)....it's a slow process
I'ld like to find something like "groups" of artists (in my case) but I guess those taht are well established already are not intersted and the small ones who knows where they are....i'm as lost as you
 
Make some blooper videos too. I started doing that now that I'm more lively and stupid when filming my Scripted Crap. Before I was nervous, now I just do all kinds of stupid stuff while the camera is rolling.

yep i get nervous too lol
and i gave up on scripting...it sounds BORING...so i'm trying to ad lib it but then i make more mistakes, so it takes longer to make a recording for a video :P hehe
