What you think of my channel name?

Hello, So my YouTube channel is called FlickYOBean and recently I’ve been a bit concerned as I have a lot of younger audience and people keep referring to my name in a sexual way xD Which I’m completely fine with because I based my name so younger viewers would see it as Flick a bean and the older viewers can determine their own interpretation.

I was thinking of making a new channel called something different just because when you search my name on google not very child appropriate results came up. This has changed in recent months as more stuff related to my YouTube channel appears.

I just don’t want to be offending or setting a bad example to the younger generation.

You could lose quite a lot of your subscribers if you move channels so I would say stick with it. When I read it I didn't think of it in that way until you said "in a sexual way" so I personally think its fine
 
I don't get how it's sexual... Am I like flicking your ball sack, do we refer to them as beans now?

I'd just say stick with the name, you've got a following, so it's best not to lose anybody by having them confused about the name change.

Yeah this is true, I would have to start again what im not wanting to do! As long as people dont think of it in a bad way im fine with it :p never meant it in a rude way anyways
 
I read it and I didn't think of anything sexual. So I'd say don't bother changing it because you would lose a lot of subs. Plus, just keep uploading and the problem with people using Google for your name will go away.

Yeah this is a good point! I just was a bit concerned with the younger audience watching my videos! Thanks anyways bro! I'll keep it and hopefully I will be able to replace the stuff on Google!

I think it really depends on who your audience is. If most of your subscribers are older I don't think it matters, but if your channel is more geared towards younger children then I think it would be better to change it to something more appropriate. Either way though, I think if more of your content is coming up that will be better because if you have kids googling you and their parents see the other stuff popping up when they google you the parents may not allow the child to view you anymore because they may associate you with the inappropriate content that is coming up.
