What type of art should my channel have?

i think it should be relevant to the content you put out, theme based you could say! i personally use the Zelda background as mine as my channel genre is Gaming :D you could use anything you like of course if it looks great, you may want a profile pic that is not similar but also great quality based
 
Best is to just show someone the art you use and ask what it makes them think your channel is about. If they are right or close, then you know you have the correct one. You can always use channel branding on your logo and banner, but it's a good idea to have other elements that show what your channel is all about.
 
I think the best way to go about this is to make you banner show your viewers who you are.

For example, I do gaming reviews, and my banner is a Mario stage. Something easily recognizable, even for those who know little about gaming, and people will automatically know what to expect gaming reviews when they see it.

The banner on your channel certainly doesn't look bad, but I also don't have any idea what your channel is about when I look at it.

That's just my opinion, though. You banner most certainly doesn't look bad as is. =)
