What software do you use to edit?

I am currently using Sony Vegas to edit my videos, it does everything we need and much more, and its fairly easy to use. Just wondering if anyone has found other software that is better, After Effects??

One wouldn't use after effects to replace Vegas, rather complement it. As Vegas is made for the piecing together of various elements to create the final product, AF is for those who wish to add certain effects and such that couldn't be done in a programme like Vegas or Final cut, hence supplementing the other programme :D

Ah cool, Vegas seems like the way to go then!

Adobe Premier is Adobe's version of Vegas, as @Davis Fang said AE is only for adding effects and Vegas/Premier would be to put it all together and do final render.

I use Sony Vegas, for what I am doing, it's all I need. :)

Premiere Pro. You wouldn't want to use After Effects, it's for, as the name indicates, effects.

VideoPad for video. Then Reaper, Audacity, and NoteBlock Studio(minecraft related stuff) for any needed audio

I use sony vegas pro 12 to edit my videos. It is very easy, and once you get the hang of it, editing can be fast.
