What size do you publish your videos in?

I edit with iMovie and when I click the share tab, it asks me what size I want to publish. The four options are Mobile, Medium, Large, and HD. Does it make much of a difference which one I pick and do you have any preference. I chose HD for the higher quality of video, but I don't like that it can't be viewed on the iPhone. Any input?

Do you mean what resolution? If so, for me it depends on the video. If it's a gaming video it's 720p for me, since the screen I'm recording on is only 1440x900 anyways. If it's a vlog it's typically 720 or 480 depending on what I record with. If it's a production, it's 1080p.

I actually have no idea! That's insane... #ThingsThatFlyOverJeriKane'sHeadOnADailyBasis

All I know, is that it fits the entire screen, so I assume it's some sort of HD! :D

Yep, that's the plan here at Thrashimation as well. It just makes the most sense. I think it increases your chances of people sticking around and watching.

For me, it's because I want viewers to be able to watch videos however they want to watch them. If they're at home on a good net connection, they deserve the highest quality I can provide.

I always upload in full 1080p. Upload speed isnt an issue for me since I upload from work anyways where I have a crazy fast unload speed.

So I think the general consensus is that when possible, the higher the quality, the better. Thanks guys!
