What Should I Try to Stream With?

Chaz

Just a sk8r gurl (or a gamer dude)
So I have thought about trying to give streaming a go whenever I have time I asked a few friends. One said Open Broadcast Software and one said xsplit. My computer isn't the strongest, however it is a lot better then some out there. All I want to run are games like Loadout, Garry's Mod and Fistful of Frags. Which one should I use?

Defintly OBS, its hella easy to use for streaming. If you need to see how easy it is, look up OBS tutorial on YT, its really easy, trust me.

OBS is great, and I use it to stream all the time, and whats best of all about it is that obs is free. Overall they are both pretty good but I prefer obs myself and I know how to use it fairly well. Hit me up if you need some help setting things up or testing your stream I know in the beginning it can be a little bit tricky.

Thanks! I wish I knew what games I could run on it already but I will find out when I stream I guess

Most games will run fine but sometimes obs will not pick up the game capture, xsplit does the same thing and it can get annoying. you can also do regions and window captures but its hard to do unless you are running multiple monitors usually.

Well since everyone on here has pretty much picked OBS I guess I will go with that
