So pretty much on my channel I have 2 things running. Minecraft and Naruto. Minecraft is the first thing I put out on my channel because I didn't have an elgato to capture my Xbox. I had Minecraft as my first thing and people grown accustom to Minecraft on my channel. I tried doing something new and I've always loved Naruto games and wanted to run a Naruto channel ever since I made a YT channel. I'm a bit dissapointed because most of my subscribers like MC. I never had fun recording MC I found it boring and I absolutely hate the game. When I play Naruto I fall in love 3 hours can pass and I'm so happy recording and uploading it. With mc I feel like it's garbage and I don't like it and can't even stand my videos. My subscribers want only Minecraft and for me to do Naruto on another channel (well someof them) I am having a hard time keeping up with one and pretty much for the past 2 weeks gave up on uploading it started to become depressing to upload MC knowing that I have so much more potential in Anime rather MC. There are anime mods I can do for Minecraft which I might end up doing. Should I move Naruto to another channel? This has gotten me in a slump!! Please write anything serious and motivating I need to get out of this slump I love YT!!!

Well, personally I would never do something I hate doing xD If you really do not like making Minecraft videos then stop-
People might unsubscribe, but the alternative is being stuck at doing Minecraft forever! :O

Follow what you enjoy making - people will probably be able to sense your enthusiasm, which is a good thing ;)

A YouTube channel is first and foremost for you, its creator. If it doesn't match what you enjoy producing or would want to watch, then change it.

Do what you love man. What's the point if you aren't happy with your work? I know you'll do the right thing good luck.!

Thank you so much! I love anime and always wanted an anime channel and I only did Minecraft because it got my channel started and the only thing I could have done.

I understand I did the same thing, and I disliked it.. so I started spreading out to what I enjoyed to do..!

Here's the thing. I said this in a couple other forum posts just so people don't call me a broken record. You have to do what you like. Me, personally I like old video games and some new ones that are innovative. Therefore I dont make let's plays and if I did it would be a more condensed version for now. A let's play can be a great thing but at the same time the video has to have some kind of continuity. You have to enjoy the game immensely, know a lot about it, and be able to commentate freely on it. Here's a perfect example. I tried to do the game Night Trap which I've never been fond of. I was going to do a let's play as I already had the footage of the whole game and it was only an hour long. So when I did commentary it sucked because I genuinely do not like that game. I said screw it and made it a review just because I wanted it to be over with. Same thing happened with my review of Harvester. Was going to be an LP turned into a review because I thought the game was crap. It happens a lot if you don't like a game you just don't want to play it. A let's play shouldnt be a drag ya know?

It shows when you hate a game too while doing an LP. If you do LP's for the idea of getting popular then drop that idea now because you are competing against so many bigger people with that same series already like Minecraft is so flooded its not easy to break into. Plus remember it's not the context of the video its the personality. If you enjoy a game then it will show and people like that. Just move onto another game. I don't stay on one game very long so...
