What script writing programs do you use?

Hahahha I just use my Notebooks and write the scripts and dialogs, next day I cut some dialogs and put new ones. Then I implement those scripts into MS Word :)

Microsoft Word, LibreOffice, Google Drive, there's plenty to choose from. I personally use Drive, though

I just scribble stuff into a notepad. It's really messy and there's arrows and crossings out everywhere, but I somehow manage to read through it and make a sentence out of the scribble! :roflmao2:

The free version of Celtix studio. It formats your script as you write it, extremely useful!

There is, in some quarters, this idea that the software makes a difference. It's not true. I used to work for a small company in vancouver who edited script for hollywood films. I had ton se Final Draft so I have a copy of FD8. Because I write a lot of actual scripts, I also have a copy of Fade In, which is quickly replacing Final Draft in some areas and was much cheaper than the 8-9 upgrade.

For youtube, however, I just use the notes apps on my iPad. You only need something fancy when you're trying to sell it and the formatting needs to be right.

I don't think anyone actually thinks the software makes a difference in the writing (since, well, it dosen't really). It's mostly about the experience using such software. How steep is the learning curve, is the UI good, etc. Different strokes for different folks!
