What keeps you going?

I do it for the fun of it. I work full time overnights, you can imagine waking up and having the energy to make videos all day but I do it because its something I enjoy doing. Subscribers are nice, but my videos are more of a diary of my gaming experience. I can go back in 4 years from now and be like oh yeah I had a lot of fun playing this game. That's why I do it and how I keep motivated. YouTube is just a lot of fun!

I do YouTube for fun. It's a hobby of mine. My videos are also like a diary of my life. I like looking back and experiencing things again. This was a key factor of my videos back when I was doing daily vlogs. It really was like a diary haha. But that became to stressful. I don't really worry about my subscriber/view count. Sure, I love to see it grow... Who doesn't? But it doesn't bother me that much. To me YouTube is just for fun. It shouldn't be taken too seriously until it's your job.

Hi-ho there gang! It has been a little bit of a slow period as people start going back to school and readjusting schedules. I have heard from a few YouTubers that are struggling when these times come..some even quitting altogether. What motivates you folks to keep going when things get slow? When you don't see any growth or perhaps, heaven forbid, you lose a few subscribers?

There are a few things that keep me going, even though i haven't been doing it that long lol. First is determination, i want this to actually turn into something sustainable. Second is having fun, sinc eim actually liking what i am doing, it doesn't bother me that im not number 1. Lastly, is positive feedback, i could get a thousand hate comments, but if i get one good comment on a video, i will keep on posting.

I love doing it, thats why the only problem I always have during the school year is finding the balance between Youtube, School Work , sports and a social life....its tough going!
