What Is Your Views On Community?

If a smaller channel can get a video featured on a larger community channel than that is great. As long as they get treated fairly. Meaning that their video gets uploaded with their permission, it includes all the intended content with nothing cut, and any links or annotations they originally intended. If the community channel respects that and gives the content creator those rights then I am all for it. I personally would use a community channel to get my content out there if I could. Sadly I do not know any community channels I would be lucky enough to get on.

With the creator's permission it's fine, but I don't know what benefits being on a community channel would offer besides exposure. If you put a video on your channel and the same exact video on a community channel, even if you put a link the the original video in the description, the community channel is taking away views from you. If you produce an entirely new video for a community channel, you'll get exposure sure, but that's about it. The community channel is benefiting more in the long run because they're continually getting revenue on these smaller channels who are banking on people liking the video enough that they'll check out their channel. It's a gamble for the smaller channels, but then again they aren't losing too much from it. The community channels lose nothing and gain everything.

Is it right as in legal? Well at least if they have the permission of the owners there's absolutely no problem, however, they are getting famous based on the work of others, so I don't consider it even an effort.
