What is this Box for Boxing?

Hi, oh well, I came across this term today: box for box, and
I wanted to know what it is? Is it just the "Featured Channels"
option? It seems to be something related to the old Youtube, but
I don't know.

Also, if I feature a channel on my Youtube page, will the person whose
channel I have featured on my page be notified?

Anyway,
any help would be appreciated

AFAIK, they are not notified. If you want to do an exchange on your featured channel, you'll need to contact them.
But, before you do that, you might want to give your channel some love. Change your default layout, create a background etc.
Also, you appear to be blogging now, but still have a channel name called WebsitesToBrowse, which sounds a little spammy, IMO.
At this early stage in your channel life, it would be well worth the effort to create a new user and channel name.
 
Box4Boxing is basically going up to someone and saying "Hey, if you put me in your featured channels box, I'll do the same!" Promoting each other on your channels. It's a great way to connect to other people and gain subscribers.
 
Yeah, it just means you put someone as a featured channel, and they put you as one in exchange. It's not a formal process, just something you decide to do with somebody.

I created this channel at first because I wanted to review websites. Then I realised it was kind of put off by the idea and instead decided to start vlogging. Hence the name of the channel. If I create a new one that's me back to step one. And trust me, I really don't like to constantly start over. I have a few other youtube channels and whenever I create a new one I feel like I'm starting all ove again (wich is essentially what I do) and it takes me a while before I'm on track. But yeah, I agree, some work has to be done on the channel.

I always wondered what is the point of people putting big youtubers in there featured channels box.
