What Is The Best Free Video Recorder Without A Watermark

I wanted to know what the best free recording software is that has no watermark at the top of your recording. I also want you all to know that I am recording games as you would have probably guessed by reading my signature. Thanks

You kinda get what you pay for with anything like that. If you want quality, and no watermark you have to pay

MSI Afterburner is the only one I know of, that can do 1080p recordings and its completley free with no watermark. Just takes a bit of playing about in the settings:

Yeah you can give Afterburner a try, never worked with it. Else you maybe should buy a good screen recorder. I know Fraps is good and kinda cheaap for what you get. If you want to record windows 8 retro games on the start menu or desktop on windows 8 you can better go with Xsplit. That one has a yearly fee.

Its a piece of software that manages your graphics card, however if you download it and go into the settings it has an inbuilt screen recorder

It's a GPU tool that can also record.

Yeah, I use MSI afterburner as well. It has a built-in recording function that works very well. Only problem is that it's a bit hard to configure if you're new to it. I recommend checking out one of the helpful tutorials online to show you how to use it. But once it's setup and everything, recording is very easy.

The only downside to afterburner is that you can only record 32-bit games. Luckily there are very very few games out there that are 64-bit only and don't offer a 32-bit alternative to the same game.

Yeah, Afterburner is your only free option for games, it also be used to Overclock your card and manage fan speeds and temperature, if you're not recording games or OpenGL/DirectX stuff, then HyperCam 2 (3 is a paid program) or CamStudio. Fraps, DXTory, Bandicam and Milliris Action! are really the best you're going to get if you have the money.
