Not really any nice free ones in my opinion.

A really amazing FREE video editor is HitFilm 3 Express.
It has almost all of the features of HitFilm 3 Pro which is used in the industry.

I don't advocate torrenting, but if you legit can't afford something and you won't be seeing an immediate reward from it, I say go for it.

I use lightworks. I enjoy it, but I don't do any crazy editing - mostly just the occasional overlay and I cut the videos together.
