What is better out of blogger and wordpress and what are the differences

Both are great blogging platforms, personally I would go for self hosted Wordpress where possible though.
 
The good thing about blogger though it is google owned and there for will probably be more friendly to adsense features. I also heard they promote them as well so if it is non google I would go wordpress but when it goes to youtube I say blogger
