What happens if you don't credit people for music?

I'm pretty sure I've done a good job for the most part crediting people for the background music I used, but there might be a few videos in which I forgot to credit someone in the description of my video if they asked for credit. If they see the video and notice I forgot to give credit, what would happen? Would I get an automatic strike or would they ask me to give credit before anything happens? Thanks!

That totally depends on the artist. Some may just give you a heads up and others may deal you an instant strike.

I usually use stock YouTube background music, Don't see the need to have music of well known people on my channel.
