What GFX work will be left after June 5th?

I've Got It
So I believe June 5th YouTube is forcing everyone to switch over to the new one channel layout. I just started making some gfx (started a little too late, huh?) and I have made a couple of normal backgrounds so far and some one channels but one channels never look as cool and aren't as fun to make. Twitch.tv is also switching their layout and removing backgrounds soon. (what is wrong with these companies, don't they see people don't like this?) so what GFX work will their be left to make after all these backgrounds are gone? Boring one channels and maybe signatures, what are you other gfx artists going to be doing?

The reason why websites are doing this is things change. Minimalistic is the new theme with a lot of websites. It's what a lot of people find "attractive" right now. I personally enjoy the new layout more than the old Cosmic Panda layout. Way less cluttered.

It's about time more people focus on their videos instead of their backgrounds.
 
I wish i had the skills to create channel art and things like that but i don't
 
Banners and thumbnails aren't as cool :/ I guess twitter backgrounds will stay and Facebook headers too. (but those are sorta like banners just taller)

Of course you need to focus more on your videos, but what if your videos are about gfx?
 
Making a great design for One Channel, that's innovative and works across all platforms and screen sizes is way more challenging than designing for the old layout. In other words: Sorry dude, it's not the layout, it's you...

Of course you need to focus more on your videos, but what if your videos are about gfx?

Then you make videos about making banners... problem solved.

There is nothing different than making background videos than making banner videos..
 
One channel layouts can look just as good if not better, personally i think they're more professional when done well
 
Yeah, I guess what you're all saying is true, makes sense and pretty much changed my mind on the new layout (although I still like the old layout better :p ) thanks for the feedback everyone guess I better start practicing my banners!
