What exactly Revenue Sharing Mean?

Cholleti

I've Got It
I have read some articles on websites and blogs.

still not yet understood the revenue sharing mean?

help needed.

took a music from you tube creation tools when getting monetized got an error ans asking to monetize in case of revenue sharing.

and the video has been monetized and then showing a line "matched third party content"

but why it's showing like that?

as ads are displaying on the video and does the line "matched third party content" will effect the performance of video or my channel?

please help...............

Thanks in Advance

Hey man! Basically revenue sharing is literally sharing the income generated from your adverts, it's usually between you, youtube and possibly a partner network.

In this case it looks like Youtube have tricked more small channels yet again with their seemingly "free music", which for a lot of cases is simply music youtube has had permission to let people use, but they (the music creators) get the income from you using it. In fact the most notorious example is "009 Sound System"

This happened a lot in the past with the "music library", which just basically gives the music creators a sneaky way of making money from you using it.

I think this is what has happened to you.

so If we use the music the earnings are shared to three people i.e....for me, you tube and the music creators right?
