What does "Supported" mean?

Guy left a comment on my video last night and next to the comment it says "Supported"
Based off the comment I have a pretty good idea what it means but I have never seen it before.
Here is the comment he left.
Although, far from well off, I do my Best to Support others in hopes that they achieve their Goals / Dreams. I Treat Others Just How I'd Like To Be Treated. Thank U & Good Luck @JRTrax

He "supports you" - He subscribed

Is that what it is? That's what I was thinking but it's the first time I have seen it.
