What does it mean views by embedded sources

when i go to my playback locations it shows views from embedded sites. Then it shows websites that viewed my video. what does this mean exactly, some of these sites are really random, is my video on their site now or is that just the wedpage they were surfing from when they watcjed it.
 
No embed by definition means that someone has put your video on that site. it could be a simple posting in a forum, it could be actually on a website, but if your views are embedded it means they watched the video not on youtube. Like it's not saying "this is the site they were on before they came to youtube to view your video" no it means someone took your link, put it on another site, and they viewed it from that site.
 
Yeah for example a p**n site shares you video by embeding the video on their site.
Like the video I have below. That's embed source.

thanks, it just wierd because some of the sites showing are like business websites.
