Hey, most of my videos are just gameplay and me commentating over them! I don't want to spend to much time editing them, but I want the best quality over for my viewers! I would like something that is as basic for my grandma to use, but as effective as Sony Vegas. Thank you so much! Anybodies opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
 
Yeah, Camtasia is pretty good for basic editing, I would suggest having a copy of Vegas Pro or Adobe Premiere just in case you need to do some more difficult edits. Movie Maker is extremely straightforward as well for editing and rendering basic Let's Play vids.

Just kidding, but really, editing is an art when done correctly, watch some of your favorite videos on youtube, and think "how did they do that", or if it's gameplay, "what makes this work", is it a format that they use every video? a style of humor?

The best videos take time to edit and produce.

As far as software, $50 a month gets you every adobe program out there, or you could go with something more basic like Premiere Elements. Depends on how much you are willing to spend, but I really recommend Adobe, and if your on a mac look into FCPX as well.
