What do you guys think about MARKIPLIER??

I envy his work ethic. If you look at his old Reddit posts from when he only had a handful of subscribers and was looking for ways to promote he took advice from a guy named Northern Lion and that apparently, along with 12 hours per day of promoting and marketing himself and his channel, led to him becoming successful. This is a post from when he only had 50k subs:

There are other posts from when he had 20k subs and one where someone posts that he hit an online milestone. The milestone was 100 subscribers.

The most interesting and encouraging thing for gamers or any aspiring Youtuber to take away from his Reddit posts is how many of his early posts had little or no attention paid to them. He had multiple posts with 0 responses and some with 0 votes. No one saw them early on. People here have that same experience and they simply give up on Reddit (or whichever platform didn't immediately give them results). He didn't do that though, he just kept working at it and working at his channel and eventually found success.

So, from what I know of him, and what I've seen, it seems like he's truly a self made Youtube gamer, as opposed to many others who seemed to have gotten a leg up from friends who were already popular. I respect him.

I think he is a good enough guy.

Not a fan of Let's plays myself. Only really enjoying a select view BUT I know he worked really hard to get where he is now.

Also he cries to much about his subs but I guess that's how he is so can't blame him.

BAHAHAHAHA

I liked watching him like 3 years ago.
But he reminds me too much of PewDiePie now, so I don't watch him anymore.

He is quite an interesting and fascinating person. In his videos he is just so excited but can also be so serieus if needed in other business.

Funnily enough I've actually enjoyed his content the more popular he has become. Found him through PewDiePie, disliked his over exaggerated style, unsubbed to Pewds a while after then found him again and subbed up. On top of that he just seems like one of the most down to earth YouTubers on there. You can actually tell that he feels like he's responsible for his followers and that, in truth, he's not a big fan of the fame he has. Well, he can pay for his life yes but just all the attention still catches him off guard.

I very much consider him one of my major inspirations heading onto YouTube. I don't believe you have to be an a**e or an actor or anything to be successful, just be yourself and put in the hard work.
