What do I do with life?

G'day Guys! What's happening? My name is NatoPotato.

This morning I woke up to an email offering me a partnership to the Freedom network, this is what it said:

"Hey Nato,

My name is Wes and I work with Freedom. I was wondering if you would be interested in talking about your YouTube channel. Freedom is a multi-channel-network on YouTube that specializes in partner growth and technology services without lock-in contracts.

If you are interested in YouTube partnership opportunities and would like to know more about Freedom’s vision and services let me know anytime.

If you’re going to apply, please use my unique link so the network knows I sent you:
(insert link here)

Best,

Wes Brown"

I had a look into the network and there are no lock in contracts and people seem to be very happy with the services, the reason why I am sceptical is because I was offered a partnership with musicnation (or something like that) and I found out that they were huge scammers.
The other reason is I don't want to come across like I am just doing this for money, I feel like it will help grow my channel.
The reason why I started YouTube is because I have always wanted to have my own channel since I was 13 but never had the means too, and this was before I knew you could make money from it. I really enjoy filming and editing videos and making people laugh and helping them through their days.

I just don't want to come across selfish and I am worried hahaha.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated, thank you guys!

NatoPotato.

I'd just stick with google adsense if I were you, but I hate signing up to stuff that it's hard to get out of.

The thing is I don't want to do it for the money, I am doing it for the publicity they provide, they also don't have any lock in contracts at all, which is what makes me curious about them.

Thank you for your response :)

Nobody will know if you're with a MCN unless you tell them. I don't think you'll come across as a "for money" youtuber only if you use patreon and have donate links everywhere.

On another note though, Pewds mentioned in his broken podcast that nobody really needs MCN especially not small youtubers.

Can you please give me a link on to this podcast?

Email by recruiter so they come for money with your channel -_- I got many email from Music Nation & Freedom! for my 2nd channel -_-

Freedom has 96,000 partners, closing in on double Fullscreen (the next largest MCN). There is really no chance of them putting any time and effort into the small channels, of which you'll find that the overwhelming majority of Freedom partners are under 1,000 subscribers.

I find the stats so amusing. Freedom with 96K partners combined gained 4.5 million subscribers in the last 30 days. Fullscreen with half the partners, gained 20 million subscribers in the last 30. Gives you a real idea of the level of growth and size of channels involved in each.
