What capture card do you recommend?

At that price... nothing.

PVR for days, best and most well known.

20 quid = dazzle = not so good
 
most good capture cards are easily $100 and more. you might want to save for a while and hopefully catch a deal my friend.

I use a PCI capture card (Hauppauge Colossus) and that alone was $150 when I bought it.
 
I have got the money, it is just a case of making the gamble. I do have a little idea of Roxio Game Capture because they have a deal on for about £40 which is pretty good. So I am not sure at the moment
 
Do your research thoroughly before you purchase anything. Also look into what you would need in a capture card. I don't know much about Roxio Game Capture to tell you the truth so I can't give you my opinion on the hardware. Check out some demo footage on YouTube.
 
Forget the roxio and the dazzle both of those will only record in SD if your making videos for youtube you have to buy an HD cap card. The pvr is the cheapest HD capture card out there I believe.

Pvr is going to run you $200 new, if you go on ebay you can probably find a used one for around $100. I understand not having money to blow on stuff like this and if you do end up getting a SD card I would recommend you look up some Sony Vegas tutorials as you can get very close to HD quality with the right render settings.
