I do a lot of commentaries on my channel, and I was thinking of upgrading from my computer mic, to an actual microphone. My budget it at the most, i'm willing to spend $150 usd. Any responses will help. Have a good day.:D

Well the microphone I use is the Blue Snowball. It is a great mic for commentaries, especially for your price range. I would also suggest the Blue Yeti, but you might be hard-pressed to find it under $150 in normal retail. There's some great online deals there for both microphones. The Blue Yeti is a higher-end model. The only thing with the Blue Snowball, is that it can't cancel out my computer fan as well as the Blue Yeti probably can, lol.

I would NOT suggest a headset for commentary purposes, as most headsets tend to be too close to your face, and too sensitive to movement.

If you're willing to go the nine yards with your channel, go for the AT2020 and a good pop filter. Many large channels use this microphone, including PewDiePie, Markiplier and SkyDoesMinecraft.

Really? I didn't know Markiplier used it o.o

Look at this thread http://yttalk.com/threads/microphones.103333/
Also Markiplier doesn't use an AT2020 he uses a Shure mic, the SM7b. Although he has had multiple mics in the past, I think he still has his Yeti. But the AT2020 is a good microphone as well, I've heard it's better than the Yeti, although I use the Yeti as I couldn't really afford anything else and I didn't want to import my mic from outside of Melbourne, I could only find 1 store in Melbourne that sold the Yeti with delivery at a good price.

I use the blue snowball, and i was able to get it off of amazon for 60 bucks. Great, CLEAR mic and combined with audacity, the audio is crystal clear! i love it
