Weird amount of views...

Okay hey,

so as some of you know I'm quite new and I've thought of another stupid question. I have only uploaded 4 videos but one of them had done sufficiently better than the rest, my lyric review one, but the others have a lot less views, especially my latest:


is the reason for this purely because the lyric review was a 'hot topic' a new song, which lots more people are likely to search for?

would it be beneficial to focus more and more of my videos on 'hot topics' for the views?, saying that take a look at the dislikes on the lyric review video... I guess fans weren't too happy at my comments (lol)

I think it's good to have maybe, a video once or twice a week, that covers a hot topic, that will generate the views. You should also keep focusing on the less popular topics alongside the others, obviously ensuring originality, as the viewers watching your more popular videos may feel inclined to subscribe, and also watch your other videos, thus growing your views on all of your videos and slowly grow your fanbase. But keep it up, we all have to start somewhere ;), hope this helps!

basically what I was thinking tbh, hot topics are much harder I find though, I usually have an opinion on them but this is not usually what a lot of the views who searched for agree with haha
 
Also popular songs/topics do get searched for a lot, that is also the case with games, one of my older videos gets on average 6 views a day, its got about 240 views now, where as my other have like 20, so yes popular things are more searched for! :D[DOUBLEPOST=1346867873,1346867521][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yes, very much so! The wider community these days is very divided on opinion/personal taste, you will always get people who like/dislike these things! But keep on doing what you enjoy, i'm sure there are many people out there who will very much appreciate your videos, as i sometimes say, the people are there, you just got to find them! :D

click on ya statistics on ya vid, you can see all kinds of bits on your video to see how traffic is driving to it. Maybe a certain keyword has been used to find your video more than others
 
the more attractive the title or thumbnail is the more views you will get, try to focus on attractiveness
