Webcam + Audacity

I've Got It
So I decided that I want to start using Audacity so I can clean up my voice a little more with my videos. Most of my videos include a facecam in them, so my idea was to record my webcam with audio while recording audio with Audacity, then line them up later.

I ran into a problem with it, though, and was wondering if anybody had a fix for it other than meticulous editing. I noticed that my audio recorded through Audacity slowly started getting out of sync with the audio from the webcam. It would be aligned for a few seconds or so, then slowly get off. Anybody have any clue about that?

You can use other plugins for getting the clarity rather than dubbing one more time

search in google for :PUNCH Evo Vocal Impact Enhancer

I'm aware of that, but Audacity was more or less being used for specific noise cancellation and compression.

for that you need somehow a better mic so there is no backgroud noise
I appreciate the help, but I don't think I'm going to find the answer I need, haha.

Besides, I'm a dummy and forgot I can stretch and shrink the playspeed of the audio, so I just reduce it slightly and it's in sync.

Sometimes in projects with multiple video clips recorded at different frame rates the audio will drop out of sync when rendering.

Audacity has a tendency to record each track slightly out of sync with the others, so that you have to drag it back a fraction of a second to get it back in time. If it's just a single audio track and it's actually the playspeed that is out of sync (rather than the start time) I would think it's your video editor that's causing the issue.

It's not the video editor that's causing a problem. Regardless, like I said, I just cut the playspeed now and it's fine.
