We use a Canon XF100 for our Podcast - Rendering Format Questions

Jack of All Trades
So the XF100 uses the Canon proprietary .mxf format. We do a podcast that we syndicate in just an audio format and we also film it and put it on our YT channel. In Sony Vegas Pro 12, they finally added the ability to edit .mxf files natively but, I can't figure out the best format to render to for YouTube while keeping the amazing quality this camera offers.

For a 1 hour 41 minute Podcast episode, it was around 38 gigs. I rendered this out and it ended up being 11.3 gigs using a custom rendering template. Would the standard "1080p for Internet" setting be good enough? I don't want to lose the quality of this thing but It took about an hour and 15 minutes to render on my pc, then 320 minutes to upload to YouTube not counting the "processing" time afterword that probably took another 2 hours... It's nuts.

Any suggestions?
